We are non profit human welfare organization registered under Nepal government’s act 1977(2034 BS), working basically for building the positive attitude among the young school children for Solid Waste Management by giving theoretical & practical(Recycling, Reusing and Reducing) knowledge for changing garbage into money. Same time we are giving the education support (Currently 53) to financially poor & needy children in Nepal. The activities are growing rapidly and we need more hands to go more forward.
We believe that children education is the means for social transformation. Building or creation the new attitude among the young school children is very effective and important for solving the strong rooted social problem in very sustainable way for long term. Children are ready to listen and accept the new ideas but grown up are already determined with socio-cultural-political-religious values and assumptions. Giving the small input in young mindset today will provide multiple and sustainable output in future in determined objectives.

My school before SAMDHAN concept was not so eco developed and was in poor level in waste management but when my school linked it’s relation with SAMDHAN children BEEP ,vast difference was seen before and after.
It is an integrated approach by SAMDAN Children where waste management is done at the source combined with awareness/training programs along with garden maintenance..
I decided to come and join SAMDAN work for 2 months, to see the current situation of Nepal and rethink the role/hope of environmental education in not only Japan but in other countries.
